The Foreign Ministry hosted the meeting of the Pridnestrovian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaly Ignatiev with the Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Klaus Neukirch.
During the meeting, a wide range of topical issues within the framework of relations between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova settlement were discussed. The diplomats agreed on the negative dialogue dynamics between the parties at the current stage which is characterized by the emergence of new problematic aspects.
Some of the republic’s enterprises have recently appealed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic informing about the facts of illegitimate detention at the Kuchurgany checkpoint and on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, of a number of goods intended for internal consumption within Pridnestrovie.
Without arranging any personal meeting, the Pridnestrovian President and the Prime Minister of Moldova signed an additional Protocol that is prolonging the Protocol Decision’s validity “On resumption principles of full-fledged freight railway communication through the territory of Pridnestrovie”. According to the agreement reached, the document will be valid until June 30, 2021.
The PMR’s Foreign Ministry hosted the meeting of Pridnestrovian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vitaly Ignatiev and the Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Office in the Republic of Moldova, Andrey Muravyov. Assistant to the PMR’s President, Vitaly Bondar and Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR, Alexander Stetsiuk attended the meeting as well.
The Pridnestrovian President had a conversation with Russian politician Konstantin Kosachev. Senators Farit Mukhametshin and Sergei Muratov representing the Russian Federation together with Vitaly Ignatiev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR representing the Pridnestrovian side, attended the meeting as well.
The head of the Pridnestrovian state thanked the Federation Council’s leadership for arranging the visit of senators as observers at the recent parliamentary elections to the PMR, and for constant attention to the processes taking place in the republic and around it.
Today, the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky met with Dmitry Kozak, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation.
During the conversation, the Pridnestrovian President highly appreciated the existing systemic nature of Russian-Pridnestrovian interaction and expressed special gratitude to the leadership of the Russian Federation for the long-term successful peacekeeping operation that has maintained peace and stability on the Dniester for more than 28 years.
Today, at the Official Representation of Pridnestrovie in Moscow, the Pridnestrovian President met with deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation. Vadim Krasnoselsky's interlocutors were Artem Turov, Sergey Chizhov and Umakhan Umakhanov. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and the head of the Pridnestrovian Representation in the Russian capital Leonid Manakov attended the working conversation as well.
Working meetings of the Head of the Pridnestrovian State continue taking place in Moscow. Vadim Krasnoselsky met with Sergey Neverov, the head of the United Russia faction, at the Duma platform. The Russian statesman is attentive to everything related to Pridnestrovie, where live hundreds of thousands compatriots as those who have Russian citizenship, so those who do not have it due to objective reasons. The meetings between the PMR’s President and the United Russia parliamentarian are systemic. Today, topical issues of the Pridnestrovian-Russian interaction were discussed.
The Pridnestrovian President Vadim Krasnoselsky met with Alexander Pankin, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation at the Reception House of the Russian Foreign Ministry. The event took place in a working breakfast format. Vitaly Ignatiev, the Head of the Foreign Ministry and Alexei Polishchuk, Director of the Second Department of the CIS Countries of the Russian Foreign Ministry together with his deputy Alexander Kondakov attended the meeting as well.
Being in the Russian capital, the Head of the Pridnestrovian State met with Farit Mukhametshin, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs. Years of diplomatic interaction associate the Russian statesman with Pridnestrovie: from 2012 to 2018, Farit Mukhametshin headed the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Moldova and used to be a frequent guest of Pridnestrovie; he is well acquainted with the situation in the republic and around its perimeter and is firsthand acquainted with the history of the Permanent Conference..." format functioning.
